Experience Authentic Greece is a brand of Experience Authentic Crete, a licensed travel agency officially registered with the Greek Ministry of Tourism and operating in full compliance with Greek tourism legislation.
Experience Authentic Greece represents geographical and thematic extension dedicated exclusively to experiences in Greece.
All experiences presented under the name Experience Authentic Greece are part of the broader Experience Authentic Crete ecosystem and are offered in accordance with the same quality standards, operational principles, and Terms & Conditions.
1. Introduction
This document lays out the rules and responsibilities for you, as a Experience Authentic Crete guest, who wants to book experiences through Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece. It covers things like payments, cancellations, and what happens if something goes wrong. The goal is to make sure everyone knows what's expected of them.

2. Applicability of the Terms & Conditions
By accessing or using the Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece website and services—whether as a visitor or guest—you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. This agreement signifies that you understand, accept, and comply with all terms outlined here.

- Partner/Host: is any independent third-party professional, company, travel agency, organization, or service provider that collaborates with Experience Authentic Crete for the provision, operation, promotion, or resale of tourism services or experiences through the platform.
4. Legal Entity
Experience Authentic Crete is a private company registered in Greece with its offices located at Heraklion of Crete. The travel agency is registered with the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
5. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
All content on the Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece website, including but not limited to text, graphics, data, formatting, designs, HTML code, photographs, music, videos, software, and other materials (collectively referred to as "Proprietary Material"), is owned by Experience Authentic Crete or used with the permission of the respective owner. This Proprietary Material is protected across all forms, media, and technologies.
Users are expressly prohibited from using the Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece platform, its services, or any information obtained therefrom, for the purpose of recruiting, soliciting, or encouraging Experience Authentic Crete hosts, guests, or employees to join, use, or become affiliated with any other online service, platform, or business that competes with Experience Authentic Crete, or for any other recruitment or employment-related purposes not explicitly authorized by Experience Authentic Crete in writing. This includes, but is not limited to, creating accounts for the primary purpose of contacting and recruiting platform members. Any violation of this clause may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
6. Quality of information
The experiences presented on this platform consist of both:
(a) original experiences designed, organized, and operated by Experience Authentic Crete, and
(b) experiences provided by independent third-party service providers and offered through our platform on a resale basis.
Experiences falling under category (a) are delivered directly under the responsibility and operational management of Experience Authentic Crete.
Experiences under category (b) are delivered by independent partners who remain fully responsible for their services.
While Experience Authentic Crete / Athens / Greece exercises reasonable care in selecting and cooperating with its Partners and third-party service providers, it does not warrant or guarantee that the experiences offered will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely satisfactory, nor that the content of the website is fully accurate or free of omissions.
In cases of misleading information or misconduct related to experiences offered by third-party service providers through the platform, Experience Authentic Crete / Athens / Greece may, at its discretion and without obligation, facilitate communication between the traveler and the service provider and assist in resolving the issue.
Any refunds, compensations, or corrective measures remain the primary responsibility of the service provider. No action, assistance, or intervention undertaken by Experience Authentic Crete / Athens / Greece shall be construed as an admission of liability or as assuming responsibility beyond the role of intermediary.
7. Warranties
Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece does not guarantee that the website or services will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We reserve the right to correct, modify, amend, enhance, improve, or make any other changes to the website and services at any time, and may also discontinue the display or provision of any content or features without prior notice to users.

Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece is not responsible for any errors, faults, or inaccuracies in the content or information provided by users, whether hosts or guests. Furthermore, we do not endorse any entity, product, or service mentioned in user-generated content available on our platform.
9. Liability
Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece responsibility is limited to facilitating access to our website, application, and services. Participation in any event hosted by our hosts is entirely at your own risk. Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece liability for any damages is limited to the amount paid by the guest for the booking. Beyond this, Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, whether arising from negligence or any other legal theory, resulting from or related to participation in any event hosted by our partners.
9.1 Suppliers are independent contractors and are not agents, representatives, or employees of Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece. Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece shall not be liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, negligence, or misconduct of any such suppliers, nor for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other losses, damages, or expenses resulting therefrom or otherwise arising from any booking or use of a product or service.
Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece shall have no liability and shall not be obligated to provide any refund in the event of delays, cancellations, overbookings, strikes, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Furthermore, Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece assumes no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, rerouting, or acts of any government authority or other third parties.
10. Issues and complaints
Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece is committed to assisting you with any issues or complaints you may have. If you encounter a problem related to the platform, app, or services, please contact Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece promptly to seek resolution. For complaints related to an experience, you agree to notify Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece the immediately if it makes sense, or within 24 hours of the issue arising and to cooperate in good faith to resolve the matter. You also agree to provide any information or take any actions reasonably requested by Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece to address the issue.
- Partners/Hosts: In the case of a no-show or significant dissatisfaction caused by deviations in the experience, the guest will be entitled to a refund, and the partner will forfeit payment.
- Guests: If the experience is interrupted, incomplete, or not attended due to your actions as a guest, you will be responsible for any damages up to the amount paid for the booking.
For any claims or complaints related to the event that exceed the amount paid, Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece will mediate between the guest and the host to help find a reasonable solution.
Any claim or complaint against Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece regarding our services must be submitted within 14 days of the event. Claims or complaints submitted after this period may be rejected, and the claimant will forfeit the right to any compensation for damages or costs.
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms & Conditions, and the provision of our services, are governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or our services will be exclusively submitted to the competent court in Heraklion, Greece.
2. For guests
1. Reservation
Reservations made through the Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece platform via the website and provided by other partners/hosts are automatically directed to the partners/host selected by the guest.
- Instant Confirmation: When a reservation is marked for Instant Confirmation, it means the booking will be automatically confirmed for the chosen time, date, and host. However, Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece reserves the right to suggest changes to the host, time, or date if necessary.
- On Request Bookings: For reservations marked as On Request, the booking is subject to confirmation by the host, depending on their availability or that of the activity or tickets, where applicable. By making an On Request booking, guests commit to the payment, and Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece guarantees that the reservation will either be confirmed or denied within 48 hours.
- Confirmation Validity: A reservation is considered valid only when confirmed by Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece via an official email notification.
By making a reservation with Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece, guests acknowledge and accept the cancellation policy.
2. Payment
When making a reservation on Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece, full payment is required upfront. The amount paid by the guest covers the total price stated on the website.
3. Service definition towards Guests
Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece is an online platform designed for travelers seeking authentic and personalized experiences. We serve as a marketplace where guests can connect with local tradition and services to book unique food experiences, tours, and activities.
Through our platform, guests can book a variety of experiences. For every booking, at least one person aged 18 or older must be present during the experience.
4. Protection of Personal Data
Experience Authentic Crete/Athens/Greece is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its users, travelers, partners, and website visitors, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and relevant national laws.
The collection and processing of personal data take place solely for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:
- processing bookings and travel arrangements
- customer service and communication
- partner and supplier coordination
- payment processing and invoicing
- compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
- improvement of services and user experience

5. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
The Services are provided by a Greek entity, and these Terms of Use is governed by the Greek laws. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Heraklion, Greece and stipulate to the fairness and convenience of proceedings in such courts for all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Services. You agree that all claims you may have against Experience Authentic Crete arising from or relating to the Services must be heard and resolved in a court of competent subject matter jurisdiction located in Heraklion, Greece.
